randomly, here's a list of new-ish comics that i really like right now:
kolbeinn karlsson's sleeping and dreaming of food, which you can download here (most of the electrocomics website is awesome.)
ted may's injury.
this random online comic from ron rege.
dash shaw's bodyworld
also, if you're in or around portland and you happen to see a newspaper called diamond comics, you should pick it up, because it's really good, free (i think), put out by the awesome guys from floating world comics, and contains nudity. i also have a comic in it. but the nudity is better.

I have to take a break every so often and read non- comics forums to reset my registers so that I don't start breaking Asimov's rules of robotics and generally running amok.
i know what you mean.
most message boards are pretty much the same as far as i can tell, but every time i read a comment stating 'i'm not going to read this' on newsarama i start head butting my monitor and yelling 'who cares.' my neighbors, of course, are creating a petition to remove my internet.
Having the same arguments with different types of people can clear the palate. For example, when I get tired of arguing about evolution with fans of Ed Brubaker's CAPTAIN AMERICA, I switch to arguing about evolution with fans of Mixed Martial Arts.
People are the same everywhere, but that's why someone invented themes, wallpapers, and skins.
Thanks for sharing the links!
I stopped even looking at forums like those, when i realized that they have absolutely nothing to offer me but headaches, and a slight fear of picking up a comic book in the near future.
Nice to mention me by the way! Thanks!
